Our journey commences in Padang, where we'll convene at Minangkabau International Airport. This marks the beginning of our travel day, as we make our way to the secluded Gunung Kerinci. Upon arrival, we'll meet our drivers and embark on a 9-hour drive to Kerinci National Park, with dinner en route. We'll reach Kerinci National Park, specifically Kersik Tuwo Village, and settle into the Subandi Homestay (which offers basic accommodation)

The next two days will be dedicated to extensive birdwatching at Kerinci National Park. We'll be on the lookout for a diverse range of avian species including Apalharpactes Macloti, Scarlet Minivet, Cream-Striped Bulbul, Sumatra Trogon, Sumatran Ground-cuckoo, Schneider’s Pitta, Sunda Minivet, Woodpecker, barbet, Broadbill, and many others

In the early morning, after breakfast, we'll check out and embark on a 3-hour drive to Sungai Penuh. There, we'll spend the entire day immersed in birdwatching. Our aim is to spot species such as Brahminy Kite, Pacific Swift, Oriental Dollarbird, Greater Coucal, Zebra Dove, Common Lora, Asian Brown Flycatcher, Yellow Vented bulbul, Orange-Headed Thrush, Olive-Backed Oriole, White Cockatoo, Oriental Scops-owl, Slender-Billed Oriole, White-Headed Munia, Graceful Pitta, Spotted Dove. We'll stay overnight in Sungai Penuh, Jambi.

We'll dedicate half a day to further birdwatching in Sungai Penuh. After checking out, we'll embark on a 12-hour drive to Padang city, all the while observing birds along the way. Upon arrival in Padang, we'll settle into a hotel for the night.

Early in the morning, post-breakfast, we'll check out and transfer to the airport for a flight to Lampung. Once in Lampung, we'll proceed to Way Kambas National Park, approximately a 2-hour drive, and check in at an ecolodge.

The next two days will be dedicated to birdwatching at Way Kambas National Park. We'll be on the lookout for species such as Rhinoceros Hornbill, Lesser Adjutant, Black-winged Kite, Blue-eared Kingfisher, White-bellied Woodpecker, Oriental Pied Hornbill, White-browed Crake, Red-crowned Barbet, Black-and-red broadbill, Oriental Scop Owl, Malaysian Rail-babbler, Crested Serpent Eagle, Rufous-backed Kingfisher, Buff-rumped Woodpecker, Green Broadbill, Red-Bearded Bee-Eater, Black-Capped Kingfisher, Malayan Crested Fireback, Dusky Broadbill, Ruby-throated Bulbul, Red-Naped Trogon, Sunda Frogmouth, Blue-throated Bee-eater, Lesser Green Leafbird, White-winged Duck. While awaiting dinner, we'll continue our search for bird species around the resort, such as the Stork Billed Kingfisher, Buffy Fish Owl, and Barred Eagle Owl.

In the morning, we'll spend half a day bird watching at Way Kambas National Park. After checking out, we'll drive to Lampung City and stay overnight at a hotel in Lampung.
